Informal look at Moscow
Former N.G.Grigoryev’s apartment house is decorated with a bas-relief of the Lorelei, a river fairy, a character of German national legends and poetry, concerned with a Lurlei cliff on Rhine. This house was built at Pyatnitskaya street at the beginning of the 20th century.

1. The knight is placed on the former M.O. Epstein’s apartment house that had been rebuilt in pseudo Gothic style in 1912. This monument is a most known work of the architect V.E.Dubovsky.

Leave a CommentSculptor Vuchetich’s ex dacha is located at Solomennaya storozhka settlement not far away from Timiryazevskaya metro station. There are two unusual Moscow sights, behind the fence.
1. Unfortunately, it’s hard to get to the territory. It is not a sculptor’s museum there, but a building to rent. However, all the interesting things are perfectly seen from outside. It’s hard not to notice two huge heads, while passing by. This an uncompleted monument to Lenin. Looks a bit creepy.
